Ingredients

  • ground veal (protein portion)
  • 1 slice Wasa, ground
  • pinch of oregano, basil, sea salt, and pepper to taste

Method

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together, form meatballs.

Step 2

Place on a sheet of foil / parchment paper on baking sheet and bake at 175°C (350°F) for approx 15-20 min.

Step 3

In a frying pan sauté fresh button mushrooms and 1 TBSP of onion in ½ tsp of ghee or coconut oil [substitute vegetable broth for oil during the Strict Phase (w/o oil) of your personalized metabolic balance® plan, or do not use this recipe].

Step 4

Add salt and pepper to taste. After they are browned add in ½ med size tomato chopped.

Step 5

Pour mixture over meatballs and enjoy.
